Pros

Company is on the rise and has plans to grow, and grow quickly. The opportunity to move up is a large upside.

Cons

Young company, almost get the feeling they are growing too fast for their own good. Corporate office is completely out of touch with what happens at the front lines. Corporate office gives you the sense that they are finding new things and policies to implement to justify their jobs.

Pros

Training for nursing position is 3 to 60 days depending on staffing needs. Nice environment with many upgrades to building. Co-workers are great. Very flexible with time off.

Cons

Management constantly changing and and protocols unclear. Wages may compare at date of hire but only increase 1.2-1.5% yearly if you request a review. Schedules, benefits and job requirements change without notice. "Seniority" means nothing except being held to perform at a higher level than new hires, often while making the same or less $$.

Pros

There are no pros working for this company.

Cons

They use a business model that doesn't work. One licensed nurse for an average of 22 patients. A med tech to administer the medications. An average of 1 maybe 2 cna's per hall. They are so understaffed with nurses that people stay after their shift, usually 2-3 hours to complete their paperwork and charting. It's impossible to get all the work done that is assigned in a12-shift. They only work 12 hour shifts for the nurses because they don't pay over time. So staying after to complete the paperwork keeps the staff within 40 hours. The people that work there have for years and they have a work routine and anything that interrupts that creates a panic. I worked with one nurse who got her first meal break at 4:30 p.m. They lock up all the office supplies. There are none to be found at any of the nurses' desks. They do not pay the standard in the industry, as well as, no shift incentives. The nurses that I worked with kept saying "you just get use to it". You are given 3-4 days of orientation. It is micro managed which leads to an authoritative style of management. They are constantly putting out fires because of the lack of staff which leads to mistakes. Multiple med errors and complaints from the patients. This is the worst place I have ever worked. If you don't believe me look up their health rating. They are 2 - 21/2 times higher than other places. There rating is 11. The smaller the number the better. I would not recommend employment to anyone or placement of a loved one.
