Pros

Company as a whole is great. Specific departments are in need of management overhaul.

Cons

Witness to very unprofessional actions and behavior. Upper management keeps a blind eye to many issues. A uncomfortable work environment with many unhappy employees. Very poor morale and great fear due to restructure. Overall a very stressful and shockingly unprofessional work place.

Pros

It is a union position so all raises are on a time worked basis. Fellow employees are very helpful to teach about procedures and about the company. Company makes a wide variety of chemicals so we sell to many different businesses. When one business is slow, it is usually offset by another business. Company offers a fairly decent medical and dental package. Offsite training is available and encouraged to learn new job skills.

Cons

Company seems to dislike the union. Contract time is very stressful. There doesn't seem to be a set protocol to train new people. Most positions are on a rotating shift.
