      Pros

      There is very generous discount on products and for full time employees the benefits are standard.

      Cons

      Good luck trying to get time off approved by your district manager without being made to feel guilty. Was constantly told my store didn’t “make goal” because I was off. The goals that are set are at times unattainable. You are in constant competition with what special aveda.com is offering. District Managers show favoritism and play too many games. If you are applying and planning on working in the MD/DC/VA market he is the worst one. He is racist and multiple times referred to a team member that was a POC as “baby girl” and when she was going on her lunch break asked her if she was going to get chicken. He feels covers because he is a “protected class”. Truly upsetting. No use calling HR because they will call your DM and give them a heads up to start falsifying a story.
