Pros

I absolutely loved the people I worked with. It made everything worth it. We worked well together on our unit.

Cons

I found that I never got off of work on time. With 6 patients overnight, many times we would have to stay and catch up on something. Some mornings we would also have to give report to 4 or 5 different nurses, so it always ended up going late. Also, if there were fewer patients for each nurse I know we could get to know their stories better.

Pros

They treat their employees fairly well. There is a lot of focus on teamwork and employee satisfaction. Overall, nice place to work.

Cons

Some feel that management is not always open with them. I haven't seen this myself. Some staffing issues, so people are needed to pick up extra shifts.

Get experience in a variety of areas. Med surg. Swingbed, Emergency Rm, Surgery Out-pt therapy etc. Very friendly and experienced Dr to work under.

Cons

Not much room for advancement. Low wages. Lot of politics to deal with. Not alot of support from upper management.
