      I came to Avera as an international registered Nurse, they supported me and my family in every step of the way. Never a day have I regrated working with Avera. I have a good team and everyone is so nice and I hope it continues. God bless Avera

      Decent benefits, Moving system to epic. Bright Physicians.

      Pros

      Front loaded PTO upon hire, vacation days no problem. Yearly raise. Currently moving system to EPIC.

      Cons

      4% absence from work calculated for full time employees, cannot miss more than 4% in 6 months or you will receive corrective action. You must apply for FMLA if you are sick with influenza or another short term illness, but in that regard, you receive 60% of your wages due to FMLA guidelines.
