Pros

Fantastic staff from top to bottom. They hire management based on merit and character, not based on politics. Top quality standards of care. The company often shows that it cares about its staff.

Pros

The team I was on was let go in September 2022, all but 3 were offered other jobs & received raises. This after months of hearing how Avera had been affected by inflation & to be good stewards of resources. 6 weeks after the team was let go Avera re-created the position & was hiring! McGreevy alone brings in 800 million a year! But Avera doesn’t have any money. Please.

Cons

You have to use your PTO for “paid” holidays, shady practices that are legal only because they aren’t illegal. HR & employee health don’t care about employees
