Pros
As a member of the Engineering Team for quite a while now, I can confirm that there are opportunities here that cannot be fathomed elsewhere.
It really is a company where the development of the Employee is valued as much as the growth of the company, quite interestingly enough, the quote from the leaders is: "The more valuable the employee become the larger of an asset we have acquired", this is true.
We have good leaders - The CEO, CTO, & CPO are all great people, who actually go around the office to talk to individuals and ask for feedback from the employees working in the "trenches".
Another plus is that these leaders also act as role models and mentors. They coach the employees from the Management down to the employee level, nobody goes unnoticed.
If an employee works hard, acts humble, becomes a team player, and displays a passion for a specific team or a career goal, it will become a reality once the opportunity comes up. This will occur as these aforementioned leaders strategically formulate methods to curve operation using specific "niches" to accommodate the goals and passion of the employees, I have seen plenty of individuals whose goals became a reality, and this was only due to the actions of the leaders who accommodated the business to align with their goals; it is quite remarkable.
If you work genuinely work hard you will be rewarded.
Oh, here are some materialistic pros: Holiday Party (Open Bar - *Wink Wink*), Weekly Catering (Per Team), Thanksgiving Dinner with Gift Cards, Baseball Games, Snacks, New Technology.
Now for the actual real pros: The Employee is give almost full "Liberty" to pursue their goals, Education Reimbursement, Micro-Management is frowned upon, Leaders who listen to the feedback of the Employees, There is no tyranny here (those operate/manage employees using fear tends to vanish), Annual Bonus, Promotions, Good Colleagues.
It’s quite awesome to work here!
Cons
With all positives there must be negatives to balance it out.
Although I cannot state the Con's for the entire company. I would say from the other reviews here, they are realistic from that persons point-of-view and interpretation, but not for all. Yet all narratives must be taken with a grain of salt; including mine.
The Cons here are the same in almost every company, aside from that, I cannot really identify any that really stands out.
I feel the positives really outweigh the cons.
