      Growing Company building great team

      Pros

      I just started with PICS a few weeks ago and found the company is growing rapidly. Most of the employees are less than 2 years. The team is friendly, willing to help and they keep building great team. The on-boarding process was surprisingly well with new laptop and desk supplies available on day 1. The company even gave you a choice of either Mac or PC (I chose the Macbook Pro) about a week prior the start date. They also have a checklist and plan to get new employee settle in. Overall, this is a great company to work with many potentials.

      Cons

      The office building is on the flight landing path of John Wayne Airport. It took me a while to get used to the noise especially outside the building. Inside, you don't really hear anything.

      Pros

      It used to be that PICS was very concerned that you spend time with your family, not staying long hours at work.

      Cons

      They no longer believe in work life balance but they pay you for a regular week not for a ton of extra hours that they demand now.

      Pros

      When Browz merged with Avetta, Browz employees had many questions. We loved the culture we had, but Avetta has been even better. I have been nothing but impressed with the Avetta management team, the professional work environment, employee empowerment and vision for the company. At Avetta, teams have access to the tools we need to be successful and departments function collaboratively. I have yet to experience any walls between departments, everyone does their best to work together and drive growth. If you want to be a part of a "Team" this is where you want to be. John Herr (CEO) is highly involved and quick to recognize individual and department success publicly, while still challenging the business. In terms of compensation, it is clear that Avetta want's to attract the best talent, true "A" players they are among the most competitive in this great market. HR does a great job, going above and beyond to ensure their employees are successful.

      Cons

      Be careful, the fully stocked break room could add a few pounds.
