Pros

- Great people: supportive and helpful colleagues and managers based on my experience in London and Belfast. There is no arrogance with the senior folks, people are opened and willing to share their experience and provide advice. Colleagues work collectively to resolve problem and everyone chips in, there is not that much "passing-the-ball-around" behaviour and people are accountable and dependable - Great idea and proposition: what Axiom is the pioneer of a "liquid workforce" model in the legal industry. The story and proposition and branding and values are consistent and people believe in it and work hard to support it

Cons

- Silo working: there is lack of understanding between the different business areas in the company which means best practices and lessons learnt are not shared and people miss out on career opportunities from lack of understanding and exposure - Lack of structured training and development initiatives: especially for some of the more junior people, there is lack of guidance on what is appropriate behaviour in the office given majority of colleagues are quite young. There is also lack of distinct efforts at developing leadership capability, some people who are great at their job may not be equally great managers hence leading by example is sometimes missing - Typical growing pains: getting better at putting in place structure and guideline but sometimes things are still being done on the fly and there is more firefighting than thinking strategically of what replicable capability and process need to be in place

Pros

-Excellent culture - flat structure with limited hierarchy with collaborative and genuinely nice colleagues. -Fast acceleration for promising juniors with responsibility being given at an early career stage -Exciting to be part of a category changing disruptor in the market - labelled the 'uber of law'

Cons

-Going through a fast growth stage in the company's history and so does not yet have the processes and infrastructure of a large corporate . -Limited administrative support and so senior individuals end up doing both complex and very basic work.
