Pros

At first things were fantastic. Great communication and really seemed like they cared. I even recommended a close friend to this company.

Cons

The facility I contracted with didn't follow through with their end of the deal and were illegally breaking my contract. I did everything in my power to make things work. But I had no one by my side. All the sudden, the people who are supposed to have my back in these situations just changed. Now they are playing games, setting me up with confrontational phone conversations, not returning any calls, refusing to release MY medical records. It's absurd. This company is great. But watch your back!

If you felt as if we cared about you it is because we DO care. We are deeply committed to the happiness and success of our nurses and with providing our partner facilities with excellent customer service. We always want our nurses to know that we have their best interests in mind and will do our utmost to ensure every assignment runs as smoothly as possible. Unfortunately things can happen that disrupt an assignment and we do our best to not only solve these issues but proactively anticipate them. On the rare occasions that we cannot solve the problem to everyone's satisfaction we definitely want to know how we can improve. Was not able to find jobs in areas of the country where I wanted to work more than others.

Exceptional Coworkers and Opportunities for Advancement

Pros

There are many things that I love about working at Aya. My favorite part of working here is the team atmosphere. The camaraderie is definitely a reflection of our amazing leadership. The CEO is very approachable and really cares about his employees. My department manager is gregarious, supportive and a pleasure to work with. I’ve become good friends with many of my coworkers and we enjoy ourselves at work. Aya likes to promote from within and there are numerous opportunities to move up the corporate ladder.

Cons

Because Aya has exacting standards regarding who they hire and we are growing so quickly, we occasionally become short staffed. I know that management is working hard to mitigate our workload and that the occasional long hours are temporary.
