A Fun Place to Work

Pros

-BDA has a strict work hard/play hard mentality that I really enjoy. Company functions are often always a blast. They work hard to create a company culture and foster teamwork/communication across all departments -The founders/owners are very down to earth and visible. -Salaried position has it's pros and cons, but generally you are not expected to work more than 40 hours a week unless there is something urgent and you're able to leave early if your team has completed it's work for the day. -Supervisors and Managers are very supportive and focus on your needs and development within the company. -I've never had trouble getting time off approved for vacation or doctor appointments as long as I gave adequate notice. -Benefits are good and there are a LOT of discounts available through our vendors and clients.

Cons

-Your hours and workload vary depending on the account you are assigned to, which you have little to no control over. -BDA is not known for high wages, this causes a lot of turn over from what I've seen. -I started as a contracted employee and my contract was only supposed to last 3 months, but I wasn't hired on full-time until 6 months.

Pros

I made a lot of great friends here. Otherwise, the work here was terrible. New employees, be warned.

Cons

Do you notice the sudden inflation of 5-star reviews? This is BDA. They try not to let the outside see what's going on inside. Instead of taking responsibility for low wages, an emotionally trigged management staff and lack of career development, the executives and HR staff try to convince themselves and others they aren't as bad as what their employees are saying they are. A lion doesn't have to tell you it's a lion, just saying.

We are happy that you made a lot of great friends here as there truly are some wonderful people at BDA. Many people have different experiences at their place of work. Some are happy, some aren’t, and some fall in the middle. Those of us who have worked here for more than a year have seen and experienced growing pains but we also recognize that growth requires understanding and adaptation. We’re not trying to convince anyone of anything, other than that possibly the vocal minority doesn’t represent the sentiments of all BDA associates. We just held our company summer picnic and there were hundreds of associates there with their families enjoying themselves. There is still laughter today about the fun. Of course we want quality employees and are working hard to provide a high quality place of employment and we know that we have work to do, but not everything is under a dark cloud. Everything in context. Please come talk to us because we’re serious about improvement.

Great place to grow!

Pros

First and foremost the people here are top notch, a great community of people from all walks of life. I enjoy the people I see on a daily basis. The company sponsors numerous events as well that bring everyone together and are always a good time. Lots of room to move up throughout the company. I Starting at an entry level position and moved up to quickly. If you are willing to put in the work then there is no ceiling to where you can go. Great accounts and a fun industry. Working with the largest companies in the world we do everything from jewel sporting events to our favorite brand names. Getting to help project there image. There is a great opportunity for compensation if you are successful with what you do. Ability to work from home or remote when needed. Being able to work on the road is important and sometimes convenient. Having the option to occasionally work from home is a nice touch. Woodinville is a great place to be out of the city

Cons

This job can be very demanding and stressful at times. Dealing with strict deadlines and short timelines can be tough at times. There have been times where work life balance is a bit out of wack. You need to be able to handle stress and sometimes put in long days. There has been quite a bit of turnover on the support staff which has gotten better and support has improved but definitely still something that needs to continue to be improved.
