Pros

You get free stuff I guess if you're into that. Sometimes you get a good team. If you were a frat boy in college this is for you.

Cons

If you have children. Don't bother applying. They say team and family, but when it comes to your own family they don't care. Not flexible at all after being told that they are flexible. Lots of mixed messages. You hear something from HR, but hear the complete opposite from management. Sales operations gets barely any recognition, and to move up within the company it is very difficult. Very high strung environment. All about "culture" when the culture is let's go into the office and micromanage you. All around a red flag. Most of the programs that are being used barely work. The internet at the office is very spotty. If your teams light goes yellow sometimes you immediately get a message saying "what are you working on" LOW PAY for a ton of work.

Pros

Great People Positive Attitude Cool Clients Ton of autonomy Fun Parties + Events

Cons

While the people at BDA are great, BDA's refusal to advance to the modern age from a technological standpoint is very frustrating. BDA's refusal to create a competent CRM system and develop stable websites leads to creating simple reports to be an excruciating process. This contributes to BDA making decisions based on emotion rather than based on a logical foundation. Way too many meetings. I bet there wouldn't be so much crunch at if BDA made a conscious effort to reduce meetings. Speaking of, I have seen many staff work during PTO so BDA is more than fine overworking employees if it helps them in the short run. You'll hear management verbally be against this behavior but not actually back it up. BDA also refuses to create realistic goals for clients which can lead to a lot of unnecessary conflict and this refusal to be transparent with both clients and employees leads employees like myself having little to no confidence in upper management. With BDA's history of lay offs and disorganization, let's just say I feel very little security in my work. While I personally have no problem with crass humor, hearing Jay Deutsch speak in such a manner right in front of all HR personnel gives me little confidence in leadership. I really enjoy Jay's enthusiasm and passion for BDA so I know he has what it takes to be a killer CEO but there's a time and place for everything and those types of jokes should not be tolerated in a work setting in front of hundreds of employees at team calls. BDA's terrible organization leads to a lot of unnecessary conflict as well but with the company being so poorly organized and a poor standard of operations, many employees like myself feel more like glorified babysitters.

Pros

Regular scheduled pow-wow's. Updated website. Corporate is located in wine country, which is nice to entertain clients. Moderate pay structure, but unachievable bonus plans. January company-wide meeting, nice to meet co-workers from other offices.

Cons

Sales against OPS, OPS against Sales. Zero comradery when it comes to synergy. Executive team actually likes it this way - fight it out. Extremely poor work ethic. Annual review system is always 4+ months behind schedule. Employees want more than stuffed animals, balloons, and beer on Friday. They are seeking advancements and modern employee perks. Lack of training after hired, no formal plan in place for dept's outside of Sales. 8 hours of meetings daily, start job afterwards. If you are not willing to work 60+ hours a week, it's not for you.
