Pros

Great people and a great opportunity for many to get experience working with big Fortune 100 clients.

Cons

Company will chew you up and spit you out once they are done with you. Layoffs are very common. This has nothing to do with performance. I won awards and was nominated for employee of the year. The fraternal comments are completely true. You either drink the kool aid or you are out. Bonuses are presented as part of a hiring package and then they are non-existent. Medical benefits are the worst I have ever seen if you are married with kids. Plan to spend what you would if you were self-insured. The talk a big talk but they don't back it up. I don't think the owners even believe what they are preaching anymore about this company being about respect and family. This company lacks real LEADERSHIP. No real STRATEGY. It changes on a daily basis. A real shame as this company had the potential to be great.

Pros

Manila team - great people to work with.

Cons

1) Very poor management pretend to be nice and ending cutting your throat. At the end of the tunnel nobody cares about you. 2) Blood sucking company, long work hours. Red flag - Burnout quickly - No work life balance. (10+ daily) 3) This company is unethical/ unprofessional from head to toe. You will hear the “F” word in meetings with CEO, Controllers…middle fingers in pictures with Top management is a must. 4) You will hear “BDA is not for everyone” The culture and leadership make it that way. 5) High Turnover making impossible to create a healthy/ supportive team.

Pros

BDA can have a great culture depending where you live. If you weren't overworked, their policies would seem really great.

Cons

Unfortunately, the CEO is so far removed now that the company is so large and often doesn't know what the left hand is doing within the org. He seems to have little say in the day to day goings on at his company. BDA once was a great place. Unfortunately, the warehouse leadership was very toxic and my own manager was not someone to be trusted. Days off on PTO were always interrupted with texts and phone calls and a lack of respecting my personal time. My boss of several years still had no idea what I did until after I left the company, and even then I'm not sure they have improved their knowledge. When someone asks for help, it's not given and instead folks are left to flounder, become severely overworked, and underpaid. The appreciation tends to only go to the folks in sales, leaving the operations people on the back burner despite all that they do for the company. Over the years, the warehouse management often hid the problems, sugar coating and fudging numbers or hiding data to make themselves look better. Really poor ethics.
