      Pros

      Good benefits, nice location

      Cons

      Poor management and organizational structure to the company which forces employees to work more for little compensation. When concerns were brought to management and senior leadership, nothing was done on their part and promises from them were left unanswered.

We encourage our management teams to have an open dialogue with their employees, including giving careful consideration to all suggestions or concerns brought up by an employee. We also are continuously adding to, and improving on, our training and development programs, not only for employees, but to also help our management teams be more effective managers.       Pros

      There used to be pros, like a good work/life balance and room for advancing skills and creativity.

      Cons

      Highly micromanaged on all levels. Constantly on the defensive. All stick, no carrot. Antiquated technology. They do not listen to the experts. They're all about bottom line at the expense of everything else and vindictive upper management will throw anyone under the bus. Ancient, old timey and senseless Calvinist work ethic. No opportunities for advancement.

BDP prides itself on the growth and advancement opportunities for our employees which includes our Leadership Development Program and Manager Success Workshop Series. We are also consistently looking for new and creative ways to do business, including BDP Fusion, a global initiative that seeks ideas and innovations from current employees. In recent years, BDP has worked diligently to be ahead of the technology curve, developing systems like BDP Smart as well as working towards operating on a Single Source Operating System. If there are issues our employees might have with management, we always encourage a dialogue with HR.

      Pros

      A Paycheck.. Most weekends off. I was able to get out of there in under a year

      Cons

      Poor Management , Old ways of thinking. Hire people based off of friendship and favors. The associates are just as clueless as the managers, but hey! they are all best buddies!
