      Pros

      I love what the company stands for! Great moral values.

      Cons

      The managers are never there to really see what's going on outside of their office. They are clueless as to what's really happening for example. Work place bullying; yeah yeah I'm the new hire but they fail to see it or at least, my branch did. There's no sense of teamwork the other Member Consultant seem to want to do you in and they didn't really have your back.

      Pros

      Free shirts, rain jackets, free pens. They're all emblazoned with the BECU logo though. You learn alot about consumer loans, though! So this job will help you understand borrowing money for yourself.

      Cons

      Member consultants are paid very little but made to believe their "benefit" package is so much greater than their nominal wages. Consultant's "behavior" is coached, similar to a puppy. There's no dignity and you have to eat crap constantly. If you hate being fake nice to people, this job will make you lose your soul. It was a little cult-y with the fleece vests and constant helping people mantra.

      My manager power me to make me own decisions. She has taken the time to coach and develop me in my career aspirations. I love the team I work with.

      Cons

      We need better systems that work well together. IT issues are challenging to get resolved.
