- St. Louis MTs are paid 2% under the national average - Some people have worked here so long that they no longer like their job and can be difficult to work with - Management can be unresponsive - no room to move up, you either work the bench or you supervise - you only work in one department, so its hard to get other experiences unless you quit and apply to another department. - Every shift has it own rules regarding dress code, breaks, and weekend work.

Unfortunately a large nonprofit organization portrays to one that quality of the employees you hire and or keep employees makes little to no difference. I understand big business is very buddy buddy, its more who you know, not what you know etc. But BJC takes that mentality way to far in a lot of cases. Oh and not to mention announcing to everyone that you cannot give raises, followed by you having 170 million in capital budget that you couldn't spend on new projects... Yes I know capital is designated for xxx, but come on now.
