      Pros

      Management encourages innovation. Tend to use fancy technologies.

      Cons

      Engineering team is isolated with customers, and do not understand the customers needs. Project mangers do not not understand the customers either... That lead to failure of the projects.

      Can make money if work hard

      Cons

      Product set easy to sell, but hard to install. Nightmare for sales who need good customer referrals. No compensation for Support. Went down hill after Bladelogic acquisition in integration of their dishonest & corrupt employees into BMC management.
