      Pros

      The people are fantastic to work with. Technology is superior to competitors. Technology is critical to companies surviving, so BMC is needed.

      Cons

      Exec leadership only cares about profits - no longer about developing people. Expect to be paid less than the plan states and then be told that it is a good thing. The earnings upside is almost zero - all they care about is if they IPO The quotas are massive and unattainable - ask about % of sellers who actually hit plan and ask about % of sellers who make $1M Strategy is not clear - leadership talks about ADE but clients don't understand Get everything in writing or they will not honor anything.

      Pros

      I was able to work from home some days.

      Cons

      Everything else about the job was abysmal. They change your job description by the end of lunch and by the end of the day... Don't work here... You'll wake up every morning wondering why you are trying to sell stuff to people on the phone from a list of people who don't even care who you are. And no, this has nothing to do with lack of trying... The lists they give you are bulk lists pulled from the internet for cheap and then given to you to sort out like a robot, on top of all of the other "hats" you must wear...

      Bdr role is not sales nor should sales people start in it period

      Pros

      Lots of food, commission structure is fairly decent to above average. They will tell you it’s unlimited every chance they get. Which seems true. Good place for young professional to gain experience. Also generous benefits like sick time.

      Cons

      Ummm, lack of leadership, some sales members can be lazy or blame the people in the trenches making opportunities, when in reality it is up to them to close and also do their own outbound efforts. Environment is going towards a call center. Bdr managers just coast it seems or to be fair just don’t lead ( have a lot of tasks and things to manage)- maybe too much. Your future for promotion is a role of the dice mixed with random things. One day maybe it’s because you are a relative, one day you might be viewed as well organized, next day maybe it’s because you were passed some extra deals and look better than you are , sometimes the right people get promoted. Dysfunctional at times and potential hr nightmare on conversations that can take place. All about who you know at this place 80 percent of the time. You can’t be yourself either.
