Poor Organization/Unclear Career Path
Pros
BRPH works on some interesting projects with some high caliber clients.
Cons
I was an entry level engineer who was fired with no warning or opportunity to fix the issues the company was having. I was let go just before I was scheduled to get a raise for having been with BRPH for 5 years. Based on what I saw while working here, I suspect this was not a coincidence and that I was let go to keep costs down. I was not even aware of any issues or given any chance to correct what was perceived as an issue before being terminated. Turnover is so high in the engineering department that I was never able to learn a consistent process to follow from one project to the next. I was constantly being foisted off on different mentors as my previous mentors quit or were fired, leaving me to have to teach myself almost everything I learned during my time at BRPH. This company does not foster loyalty, nor a good learning environment for young engineers. There was very little information provided to me as a path to advancement as well, despite my asking numerous times.
