Pros

I get to work on modern cutting edge technologies on a daily basis. Everyone is friendly and it makes going to work a joy, I miss seeing everyone as much because of lockdown but its still good. I trust the CEO to make decisions that are good for the company as a whole, not just him or the C-suite. MJ (the CEO) really gets how to be a compassionate and effective leader. It's a relatively small company so I have a nice sense of community by getting to know most people even outside of the projects I work on. Benefits package is among the best in the area, pay is competitive as well. Work life balance is great, and 4/5 weeks of PTO per year makes that better!

Cons

Can't talk about the work to other people because its government, but hey that's everyone in this area so no big deal.

Pros

I appreciate that technical curiosity and growth permeates the BTI360 culture. The people are amazing and I've found lasting friendships. The leaders @BTI360 challenged me to take the next step in my career to lead a team. I was a part of the Technical Leadership Academy where I learned soft skills and team dynamics that I previously was not strong in. I also appreciate that the leaders value families and serving. During COVID we've had many virtual get togethers where the kids were invited like decorating a gingerbread house. There were also donations to families that have been hurting. If you want to be a part of a culture that pushes you to grow as a leader, values technical curiosity, and cares about others, this is the place.

Cons

The people at BTI360 care about teamwork. In fact, the people are called teammates (not employees). Working well in a team environment is critical. If you'd rather code by yourself and be left alone this would not be a good fit.

A downside to grouping employees on projects is that it's difficult to meet people outside the company.
