Pros

Fosters a great work environment and teamed with, for the most part, smart people. Exposure to senior leadership and opportunity to travel and experience an untraditional career route

Cons

This is not a strategy consulting firm despite its best efforts to market itself as one. This is a learning and development firm. You mostly work with people in HR or their Learning and Development organization - there is nothing exciting about that. You don't do any consulting related analysis. Real strategy is left for the likes of MBB, LEK, AT Kearney, Strategy& and Marakon. Difficult to lateral to other consulting gigs. Most people seem to move on to sales in their favored industry.

Pros

Amazing people and culture - this part of most people's reviews was spot-on. Coworkers were helpful, kind, genuine people, almost to a person. This alone is worth two stars. This alone, however, cannot pay the rent.

Cons

Low, low salary, and the route to a promotion/raise is clunky and only happens twice/year. Benefits options were pricey and not great. Benefits and salary are not competitive to other companies. Overworked beyond all measure, and in all departments. Burnout came on hard. Luckily it is currently a workers market.

Pros

There is a good culture in general. Work-life balance is emphasized. Health benefits were good. Clients and projects were challenging and fun! Lots of learning professionally.

Cons

Very low compensation for the industry. Make-dominant leadership. They speak a lot about DEI but don’t walk the talk. Poor leadership who is primarily concerned about themselves but not the main players on the teams. Titles are smoke and mirror. As a young professional or someone who’s making a change in career, there is a honeymoon phase that soon will get tainted with the reality of favoritism. Typical business politics but objectively, plain unprofessional. No clarity or transparency on promotion strategies. And I believe the CEO announced his daughter - who hadn’t been an essential part of the company until then - into a future leadership role which made me think of nepotism.
