1. People Expect you to understand the platform very quickly within 1 month. 2. management will put you in the project without even knowing where you stand as a new joineee. 3. They Expect a lot to do everything in time. 4. there is no proper documentation and roadmap. 5. No one will listen ur concern.

Pros

Good work-life balance, better salary compared to other companies or competitors. There is no complex administrative hierarchy like MNCs. Backbase has retained its startup culture even though the company is now big and has global presence. All the pros are true for Backbase BV - Amsterdam unit not India.

Cons

The management in India is immature and is not aware of even basic employer & employee etiquette. The policy keeps changing as per Indian management team without considering employee first. The business support teams lack etiquette and assumes the employees should & must follow what they think. This audacity by BDC teams here is not going to help Backbase or its customers instead negatively impact the company growth and finally employees. The reason I have given 3 star rating is due to fact how Backbase BV has treated me well when I joined before India had a separate entity.
