At first people are freindly towards you. Only they want to talk about you when you aren't around. Long term employees are otherwise very unfriendly, the managers show blatant favoritism towards certain employees. The supervisors on the floor are just as bad as the managers.

Cons

There is a definite seperation between the office personal and production personal. Some office workers around the company are rude and unprofessional. Senior managment maintains personal close relationships with workers that are not appropriate. There is no confidentiality with your supervisor due to the need for the rumor mill to keep turning. As they are often heard having inappropriate conversations about other employees.

Badger Meter has a wonderful culture that cares about every employee - Every Employee Counts. Badger wants to invest in your professional development and will help you find opportunities to learn and grow. Also, the wellness program is great and offers many perks! I enjoy the sponsored runs, volunteer events, blood drives, lunch and learns, cafeteria, yoga classes and fitness center.

Cons

It takes some longer than others to adjust to change. Keep up the good communication, it will help everyone navigate.

Great employee culture. Everyone is valued for their contribution to the team. With the new leadership team in place, there have been many promotions and great new people that are extremely talented join the team. Great products and talented employees...this is what allows Badger Meter to be such a great company to work for.

Cons

None from my perspective - best change I could have made from my prior company.
