Pros

Creative freedom Competitive pay/raises Vacation time Work from home or hybrid

Cons

Leadership is constantly changing and no one knows what they are doing. Massive layoffs every Q4 for the past 3 years with no notice. Very little resources for creative - you will end up frustrated because although you are given freedom to create what you want, they don’t give any resources to achieve the goals. Since leadership in changing so frequently (every 8 months) there is no brand direction. Once your team is finally settled and starts getting a grasp, they fire leadership and hire new only to repeat the same cycle.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We're pleased to hear that you’re satisfied with your pay and lunch benefit, but we are concerned to hear about your experience with other aspects of your job. As a company dedicated to coming together to be All One Team, we strongly believe that everyone has a right to be treated with courtesy. If you feel that there are issues which need to be addressed, we hope that you will reach out to your local HR team, or share your concerns with our senior HR leadership on feedback@ballys.com. Pros

My team and manager were incredible and I will miss them terribly.

Cons

More VPs, EVPs and C-level execs than can be believed. By the time you finish counting the levels between you and the CEO, they’ll add yet another level. It’s mind-boggling. Handling of projects. Where to even start with this one? Every request is last minute and due yesterday. Useless, endless meetings just to argue about whose fault it is that a project isn’t delivered on time. Lots of self-patting on the back for the higher-ups when something does eventually go through, even when it’s always down to the hard work of us ‘plebs’ at the bottom of the pile. The pay is ridiculously low for the gaming industry (unless you’re one of the many higher-ups referred to previously, then you’re pretty much godlike). ‘Hybrid’ working policy: they inexplicably force you to come to the office 3 times a week and monitor you through your entry card. We were actually told, at a company event by the CEO at the time, that we could ‘see ourselves out’ if we disagreed with their so-called hybrid working policy. They claim to offer flexibility through one-off exemptions for working from home but there are about 4 reasons you can pick from. God forbid you’re a parent and your kid is sick. About as transparent as a brick wall. One day you’re being complimented in a call with 300 invitees easy; the next day you’re being told your position is redundant. To sum up: when Bally’s bought Gamesys, it sucked up whatever soul it had. What was once a nice place to work became just another evil corporation.

Hi- we appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback regarding your time at Bally’s Interactive. As we have grown into a more global business, it is only natural that our structure has also grown to reflect the complexity of the organization. While we rely on our senior leaders for strategic direction, our thrilling products and platforms rely on the outstanding work done by employees at all levels of the business. Our hybrid working policy was designed in order to give all of our employees equal and fair access to this benefit. We appreciate that everyone has their preferred way of working and we hope to offer our teams the chance to balance their working week to suit their needs. While we understand that everyone has their own preferences, we believe in the importance of making time for in-person collaboration and its impact on engagement, productivity, and wellbeing. This model is something we arrived at following several rounds of feedback from employees and managers in order to offer enhanced flexibility compared to what we were equipped for prior to the pandemic. As we aim to make people our most valuable asset, we always hope to provide fair compensation for our teams, and your comments in this area has been noted. While you may no longer be a member of our teams, please rest assured that your feedback will play its part in helping us to make Bally’s Interactive a better place to work. Thank you once again for sharing your thoughts. We invite you to contact our senior HR leadership directly on feedback@ballys.com if you have anything further to share with them.
