      Pros

      Supportive and collaborative culture; teammates are genuinely kind and easy to work with. Somewhat flexible hours, which can help with work-life balance. Yearly discount on a Christmas tree 🤷.

      Cons

      Lack of clear vision and direction from leadership often results in shifting priorities and reactive decision-making. Poor planning and inaccurate forecasting for company-wide projects lead to recurring issues, duplicated or unnecessary work, etc. These missteps contribute to employee burnout, especially during peak seasons, and can hinder long-term productivity and morale. It often feels like there is no clear company vision for the next 3-5 years. Instead of strategic planning, decisions seem driven by short-term thinking or a "let's see what happens" approach, which creates uncertainty and a lack of direction across teams. Questionable promotion decisions sometimes undermine morale, with a lack of transparency around advancement criteria. Limited opportunities for meaningful career growth, especially for long-term employees looking to develop their skills or move into leadership roles.

      Long-Term Employee Perspective: Mixed Feelings After Redundancy

      Generally good team environment within my department. Opportunities for professional development in certain areas. Decent benefits package.

      Cons

      The redundancy communication was abrupt and lacked transparency. Despite prior assurances from management of no near-future layoffs, we were suddenly terminated.

      Okay salary and benefits Talented and hardworking team members Opportunities for growth if you take initiative

      Cons

      - Communication from management is unclear at times, leading to confusion and inefficiencies. Some meeting with my lead feel unnecessary and could be handled asynchronously. - KT processes need improvement, team members struggle to get the right information when they need it. - Some leads lack leadership skills, which affects productivity. - My then lead was not genuine about my growth and would do 1:1s with no agenda, and would often work on their own, and sometimes it felt like I had no manager.
