Do Not Accept An Offer Without Doing Your Research

Pros

It is hard to think of any at this time.

Cons

The majority of the reviews on here are accurate. There are a few exaggerations from employees that were probably laid off, but the themes are all correct. Make sure you fully understand what you are saying ‘YES’ to and take the time to do the research. Don’t believe a review? Reach out to current and former employees. Review LinkedIn to see how quickly people come and go. I left a high paying job to come here on a false promise. The company is in complete disarray. The layoffs are not the worst part. The monthly overhaul of plans and strategies makes it impossible for anything to be successful. The CEO is erratic, emotional, abusive, and not capable of executing. He is, however, extremely charismatic. Until you spend a week on the job you can easily be fooled by the state of the company after speaking to him. They tell a great story but have a track record of failure. The company has been shrinking for months. Before you accept a job here ASK THE TOUGH QUESTIONS. Has anyone achieved or been paid their bonus before? What percentage of commissions are paid out? How many sales teams hit target? When was the last time the company achieved a budget? Do any other leaders successfully work remotely Y days per week? Is customer count or bookings growing? What is the retention rate of customers? Take the time to do the research. Do not blindly listen to executives and recruiters as they sell a false dream. Do not make the mistake I made and spend 60 hours a week trying to hit make-believe targets with a fraction of the staff you really need.

Pros

Some well-meaning people in non-leadership positions

Cons

Obsessed with taking as much of their customers' money as possible and giving those customers as little as possible for it in a borderline predatory way.

The Theranos of HR tech

Pros

Not enough to out weight the cons

Cons

Where to begin: The CEO has regular layoffs every couple of months, but in reality, it's a veil to mask people he wants to fire. Keep in mind, when you fire someone, you need documentation showing poor performance, attempts to reconcile, etc. With a layoff, you don't need much apart from telling people that positions are getting eliminated. This cycle happens over and over again. We recently went through another "layoff" where people from our engineering and HRM team were let go. While on the other hand, doubled down on sales and marketing, showing they care less about building a great product, and are more worried about selling a shoddy product that doesn't even work aka the Theranos of HR tech lol If you need a temp job in a pinch, work here. You'll probably be fired or want to get after a couple months. I'm eager to see this place crumble once investors get wind of what's happening here.
