      Pros

      I really enjoy working for BambooHR. It is a fun atmosphere with more focus on the work we do and less attention to the politics of the workplace. I feel valued as an employee and that the I work I do here contributes to the overall success of the company. We work hard at work and our individual contributions matter. Employees are treated as real people and management has done a good job of remembering that. Our CEO still knows everyone individually (and most of our kids too).

      Cons

      The growth has been a tough challenge. We grow deliberately and consciously, so that involves a lot of thought and hard work. I worry about protecting the amazing culture we have worked so hard to achieve with new hires who need to understand that work life balance means you work really hard at work! There is no room for giving less then 100% each day because each person matters.

      Pros

      The company culture is great. Performance is expected, people are friendly, and doors are open. The company is small and growing fast. Culture is important and Bamboo is disciplined about retaining that culture. I look forward to coming to work and feel like Bamboo helps me progress. We have a great work-life balance.

      Cons

      With as fast as we're growing we need to set specific company milestones.

      Pros

      I left a stable job at a larger company to have a meaningful impact at BambooHR. I have not regretted it. Even at our current size, I still feel like I need to bring my A-game everyday, no slacking off allowed. This greatly appeals to me, because we have a culture of working efficiently and getting things done. Everyone is working towards the same goal, and we all have a feeling of ownership over the product and experience; from sales to implementation to customer service. I have had to grow significantly and continually learn and try new things to keep up with our pace and goals.

      Cons

      I miss the days when we were a smaller company, but our current size has benefits too.
