Pros
There is a reason Bank of the Ozarks has ranked as the top performing bank in the nation for the past seven years, a culture of excellence. It is refreshing to work for a company where each employee strives to not just be good, not just be great, but to be excellent in everything they do. Employees who service external customers perform at a high level because they are supported by employees internally who perform at a high level. The environment here is one of mutual trust and respect. I have never worked at a company as respectful as Bank of the Ozarks. The benefits are great, the opportunity for advancement is way above average because of our growth and success, but at the end of the day, its being part of a winning team, working for a company with high standards and ethics which makes it all worthwhile.
Cons
If you are a slacker, this isn't the place for you. My observation is the bank hires top performers and employees with potential to grow.
