Our company was bought out by this company, and my location was shortly shut down afterwards and our jobs were lost. The problem wasn't the displacement from our jobs, but the way in which it was handled (which was very distasteful). There was a very strong lack of communication in the short amount of time that we remained after the buyout which made things very confusing and disheartening. It was more being like the redheaded stepchildren of the company instead of the team.

The most culture and recognition I received from this company were before my first day and on my first day of employment. The Recruitment team does a great job selling the company, but the ideologies do not match its reality, which isn't necessarily the recruitment team's fault. Pay is mediocre unless you are in upper management. Bonuses and raises are nearly unheard-of. The divide between upper leadership and all other associates is blatantly obvious... No respect and lack of understanding. The amount of time I was disrespected due to my age, gender, or appearance was enough to understand I did not have nor want a future at this company. HR is reactive, not proactive. The HR team is more focused on unnecessary reorganizations, scaling down overtime costs, and de-escalating petty employee issues than creating a culture of inclusion and belonging for their employees.
