I am working in a branch during the coronavirus pandemic and putting myself and my family at risk every day. BankUnited has done nothing to compensate those of us on the front line. Every other bank has at least increased pay or given bonuses. I am forced to go to work with no extra pay. They even kept the lobbies open when it was getting bad, when everywhere else was closed. They decided to close our lobbies way too late. Then they decided to close branches at 4 and still pay 40 hours. That’s what, an extra 30 minutes a day? Thanks BankUnited for caring about your employees. Oh and your systems are so outdated. I wish I never joined this company. My former bank is making work optional and still paying 40 hours. If they decide to go to work, they get their 40 PLUS the hours they work. Do you not realize I could be contaminated with the corona virus ? I have severe asthma and could die from this and deserve hazard pay if I am forced to go to work. My position is already underpaid. Ridiculous!
