There is definitely an 'in' crowd. This crowd is basically the 'leadership' team of the business bank, but the way they behave is no different to that of the MD of the organisation. They treat their positions as positions of privilege rather than positions of responsibility. I struggle to figure out what they actually do all day other than attend meetings and make plans based on limited knowledge or information provided by someone who is part of the crowd. Their decisions don't often make sense and they don't share there reasoning. I have been told by a couple of them things like 'that's leadership' or you just worry about getting drawdowns (you can get away with almost anything if you are getting drawdowns) as an excuse for to not have to explain a decision that doesn't make any sense. I could go on, but you probably get the idea. Also they will pay you the bare minimum unless you have another offer then they will offer you a reasonably amount more.

Poor behaviour by management (IT) is tolerated, and bullying is acceptable. Changes to the way they work have destroyed the culture. Everyone is trying to escape.
