Lots of drama at my location, people in higher positions were very bossy and unappreciative of others work at times, unorganized hiring process (for my department-transportation)

The current management is seeking employment elsewhere after poorly managing for several years, but hopefully replacements will improve the state of things. The current incentive system rewards lazy, selfish workers while people that actually work for improving the department are actually discouraged either through lack of support or lack of recognition. There is a lack of the sense of team in the department, it is very segmented and current management seems to make things worse by pitting staff members against each other and removing themselves from staff. There is no human connection as they strive to make the department feel like a corporation.
