Pros
I took this job and work here to fill out my resume and give something back to my community. Banner Health can have my time and best effort, but not my loyalty. Decent PTO benefits, but pay is well below average for IT staff.
Cons
Leadership at Banner Health has been fairly shortsighted, and there is a severe lack of advocacy for employees, even when they perform above expectations. My dept alone has lost over 100 years of combined work experience in the last two years alone. Chronically understaffed IT dept. Complete lack of clarity about job duties, sometimes it seems like 70% of tasks are "Other duties as required".
