Pros

Fun environment, promotes a healthy lifestyle, learn a lot about the administrative side of a hospital. The promote to take care of the patient first.

Cons

Unrealistic goals set by management. Sometimes too focused on collecting money from patients and not patient satisfaction. A lot of areas are understaffed and there is no urgency to fill those needs.

Terrible Transition in Tucson

Pros

There are no advantages to Banner acquiring the U of A Medical Center. A new hospital will be nice, but there will be no experienced clinically relevant staff or physicians at the institution to provide care

Cons

Transition from UA to Banner employment is terrible. Pay is low, benefits are expensive and you must have Banner Provided health insurance, which is not accepted at most places in Tucson. Thanks. Internal survey showed less than 40 % of Tucson employees trust Banner as their new employer
