Pros

There is a great opportunity to learn and take on new tasks. The hospital is probably the best employer in the small town.

Cons

Software is old and out of date, high workload, high turn over. If you compare the hospital with one in the lower 48 - by far the lower 48 is more relevant and much more professional.

Pros

Technology for inpatient EHR is great. Nurses and ancillary staff are caring.

Cons

Hypocritical leadership- states they will base merit on quality of care, but continues to base bonuses on volume of patients seen. Pat themselves on the back for cost containment but pays its non-for-profit CEO almost $3 million. Opines work-life balance but really does not provide support to back this up.

Pros

the pay is okay but don't expect to get regular raises. Self-scheduling which is really nice.

Cons

The company/managers don't support the RN's/aid's. Always understaffed and giving you more patients than you should have. no room for growth.
