Pros

The colleagues are nice and somewhat helpful and the facilities are modern, clean, and fairly upscale with decent options for employee parking and lots of options for self education through online modules.

Cons

Pay is low, benefits are expensive and not that great, hitting process is a huge time suck and when they make mistakes with your schedule it's on you. They don't care how much of your time they waste. They are often understaffed and when they are ever overstaffed they may send you home last minute with either no pay or the option to use PTO which is a cumulative amount of time accrued at a rate of approx one shift per month if working full time. This is for everything including sick time and vacation time. So if you get sent home say 3 times in a month which is the average for new nurses here, then you can only get paid one of those days and you have nothing left for sick time or vacation. It's a terrible system. Also you get no breaks unless you work 12+ hours then you get 30 min unpaid total. You are lucky to be able to take a snack break after 8-10 hours but often no time for any break. And you will often work beyond your scheduled 12.5 hours but won't get paid for overtime until you reach 41 hours.

Pros

Work with some of the best people anywhere. Telecommuting is heavily encouraged. Good benefits and generous vacation.

Cons

Penny pinching. Senior level people are eliminated and replaced with younger, cheaper, less skilled folks as policy. Senior management not responsive to people in the trenches.
