      Pros

      The pay at Banner Health is fair and employees work hours that are family friendly in the Banner Health medical group

      Cons

      No focus on patient excellence, focus is strictly on meeting financial goals regarding collecting co-pays or deductibles, work atmosphere is awful. Senior leads on the floor act unprofessional with staff and in front of patients, doctors are constantly leaving and departments are closing. SR leads have no degrees and maybe that is why they act poorly.

      Pros

      Salary is competitive or better. Medical benefits are very good. Up to 4% match on 401k. PTO accrual is competitive. Many locations.

      Cons

      Administration, and mid level management is horrible. In my clinic management has changed 8 times in 6 years. Doctors leave company too frequently. Staff turnover at my clinic is in line with the management retention problem. Clinic supervisors and managers are under qualified and often from various backgrounds, yet are in put charge of licensed career professionals.

      Cons

      Understaffed (some depts are dangerously understaffed) Uncaring upper management Poor RN new hire training Tuition assistance given only to a few select employees (yes, even if you qualify, the chances of being selected for tuition assistance is slim!) Poor monetary and loyalty incentives
