Pros

The hours are not as extreme as most firms so you can have a life outside of work. They also provide free snacks and decent coffee for free. The attorneys are very skilled.

Cons

They don't compensate very well and they treat you like they do. In other words the management believes you are lucky to have a job so take what they offer and get on with it. They don't have a set bonus program so you are basically at the mercy of the office manager if you expect extra money at Christmas.

Free bagels, jeans on Friday, summer schedule.

Cons

Nepotism plagues this company. If you're liked (by the executive director), you succeed, even if you do a bad job. However if you aren't liked you will not succeed no matter how hard you work. The executive director being the staff supervisor is a recipe for disaster. She is not familiar with the day to day of a legal secretary and because of that there is a serious disconnect. The turn over is a direct result of her incompetencies as a staff manager.

Honestly, it was one of the worst decision of my life. The Firm is completely unorganized, the procedures and policies are non-existent, and they don't care about there employees at all. STAY AWAY.
