Pros

Pays for master. Can allow for interesting projects. Can be a gateway to the big players. Compiling your projects with 100 cores is kind of fast. There are few outstanding individuals.

Cons

Leaves your over-specialized. Research is but a bunch of lies in an orgy of egotism. Higher managers should do only research, meanwhile middle management will shove down your throat whatever project is paying the time they are spending not doing research nor mentoring. There is no cohesion. The bright individuals are overbooked and overlooked. The master they propose is, at best, missing effort by almost all the involved parties. The pay is almost as miserable as some of the managers working there (I mean, at least you can trust money). They will suck your every last bit of energy, then throw you away, because you are replaceable, and they are not.

Pros

Good environment. Combines studies and work.

Cons

Low pay. Semi-flexible hours. HR They offer you help to study a Master, but then it's only the Master they tell you and may be not.
