Pros

You are on de edge of hardware technology in spain. You have big systems to play with. A little bit of flexibility with work ours.

Cons

Salary very low. No possiblities of escalation due to company hierarchy. Bad habits in working, not very professional in certain aspects. Hard to implement new technologies, stick to past. No teleworking at all. Ticket restaurant of 3.5€/day.

Good pay for Spanish standards, though through temporary contracts, which are rarely renewed, and even if they are, insecurity of employment remains a true pain..

Cons

Lots of PhD students and postdocs being heavily exploited to feed a whole establishment.. No way to develop, no matter how efficient you are, unless you have a proper place within all vested interests.. Complex hierarchies of average or poor researchers.. It is common that young and bright people are being wasted..
