Pros

- Freedom to work on teams and projects that you want to work on - Solid leadership team - Good benefits and PTO/Comp time system - Lots of talented coworkers to learn from

Cons

- Work load can sometimes be feast or famine - Salary seems to be in the low-to-mid range - Lots of unfunded meetings; it can be easy to ignore them when work load is heavy

They paid me a hiring bonus

Cons

They fired me after 7 weeks for bad performance, despite never receiving an official warning, having a meeting with HR, or any intervening steps. I was never even told who my boss or supervisor was. During the interview they made a big deal about how flexible they were, then on my first day said I had to be logged on by 8 am to accommodate co-workers on the East Coast. They fired me on the day I told them my wife was pregnant.
