Pros

Nothing. Bottom 10% of leadership when it comes to a publicly traded companies. These people are complete liars and the most lazy, narcissistic people in the world.

Cons

This is the laughing stock of PEO's. They pride themselves on having high level conversations and promising a 3 to 1 return on investment when 99% of their clients are from extremely blue collar industries that are just trying to avoid the high cost of workers compensation in those industries. Clients come to us for cheap work comp, not high level conversations. The high level PEO's go in for benefits and have high level conversations with CEO's and CFO's with work comp being secondary. This company is a complete joke and it starts at the top. Keep being the PEO that lends itself to risks you can't cover under the guise of being the Cadillac of PEO's is the biggest joke in the industry and everyone knows it. These losers tried benefits and couldn't get it right....enough said

Pros

Extreme flexibility. BBSI allows it's consultants to set their calendar, appointments, and workday schedule. And, that I found a new job and was able to move on.

Cons

This organization is completely unorganized, directionless, and archaic. The leadership team conducts themselves in a cultish manner using symbolism, nomenclature, and a false history to establish an organizational functionality and purpose. They (leadership) seek out exceptional individuals, present a false reality, and then turn around and ridicule and patronize them with phrases such as ‘ego is the problem’ , ‘your pedigree is not wanted here’ , and ‘you will be evaluated by the types of questions you ask not by what you do'. The firms’ structure places everyone in competition, while at the same time disciplines for competitiveness. Bully tactics are as common as the free coffee. However, the free coffee taste good going down. Lastly, no one in the senior leadership sphere can explain how customers are billed, what services BBSI provides, how bonuses are configured, and how the organization has performed over the past 7 years—with supporting documentation.

Pros

If you're good in your field of expertise, you're left alone for the most part. I pretty much make my own schedule.

Cons

They preach business advocacy, caring about customers, managing human capital, YET they could care less about their own employees. There is no support of talent. No internal support for continuing education or bettering skill sets. All you on your own time and on your own dime. area managers are hypocritical. "Do as I say, not as I do".
