Pros

They do seem to actually care about their employees and it shows in benefits and most aspects of culture

Cons

Being a person of color can be a little tricky. I've heard coworkers actively say that a POC got the job because of affirmative action as if the person wasn't fully qualified to do their job. While the company really tries I think some of the employees are not always the most inclusive.

Working at Basis has been incredible. The company's consistent growth each year is a testament to its success and vision. Leadership's transparency about the company's direction is impressive and inspiring. I feel genuinely supported by my managers, who are dedicated to helping me succeed in my career path. Moreover, I am fortunate to work alongside such intelligent and talented colleagues. This combination of growth, support, and an amazing team makes Basis an exceptional place to work.

Cons

There are very few (if any) cons to working at Basis. In the past, work-life balance was an obstacle, but this has significantly improved over the past few years. The company has introduced more flexibility, including perks like Summer Fridays, which have made a positive impact. However, continued efforts to enhance work-life balance and flexibility would be beneficial in maintaining a healthy and productive work environment.

It’s true what everyone says that the people are what makes this company so great. Everyone is positive, passionate, smart, and dedicated to what they do.

Cons

We’ve lost some perks that used to make Basis stand out, like an annual stipend for health & wellness, and our team outings/holiday parties which were great for camaraderie with remote roles.
