Pros

Nice about Basware is that there is a lot of freedom. One of the core values is "Act with courage". I see that the organisation needs people acting with courage. Personally I feel this is appreciated as long as it is good/constructive feedback with the goal to make the company better. There are quite some hierarchical layers, but if i look to my own work I can easily bypass them (keep them in the loop) without problems. Basware is a financially solid company.

Cons

There is a heavy middle management layer. Managers who are there because they where good at what they where doing but not necessarily being good at management. Personal development and investing in people is not the highest topic on the agenda which makes it difficult for the company to make the next step.
