Great training and support, high quality products, good reputation

Cons

Funeral industry is in decline due to increasing cremation rate. Lots of good people laid off to keep profits up. More pressure from management to dice up sales data, submit reports and spend hours on multiple campaign reporting

Pros

This is a somewhat forward thinking company using good practices for the most part. They provide excellent product and are able to train employees given time.

Cons

The company has a tendency to not understand all of their markets. Canadian markets are very different and continue to baffle the Head Office in Indiana. They just don't understand how big Canada is or our preferences. Insist that they know better and force product and sales principles that won't work here. Understaff Branch offices and curtail overtime so that training upgrades are impossible.

The company does a wonderful job bringing in excellent talent who overall understand and believe in teamwork. The company itself does a wonderful job in taking care of their employees.

Cons

Currently the company is going through some difficult economic times which is effecting the entire funeral industry. This is driven by the poor economy, stiff competition and rising cremation rate.
