Pros

BaubleBar is the most collaborative environment I have ever worked in. Everyone values each others opinions, and that has been made clear to me from day one. No matter what your position or level is, you have a voice in this company. Which is amazing, especially because BaubleBar is definitely going places. It is so exciting to work at a company that constantly reports growth, and has such brand and customer loyalty. Additionally, everyone here is friendly. From my first day, my team as well as others have made an effort to learn my name and get to know me. It is also such a fun place to work. Every week without fail there is a celebration of some kind. We have weekly meetings with the entire team, and you can tell everyone just likes each other. Additionally, the benefits in terms of free and discounted jewelry are amazing. It is clear that management wants to make sure that the employees are and stay happy! Yes, you work hard, and sometimes we are working late, but if you love the brand (which we all do), it is worth it.

Cons

- Yes, the office space is small and we are growing out of it. But, we are growing, so that is exciting

Pros

Employee discount… that’s all I got.

Cons

This place is T-O-X-I-C and it comes from the top down. Why? Because it is not properly scaled for the results that the founders want to see, especially as it relates to the headcount and who they hire for senior roles. They will micro manage you, they will belittle you, and they will blame you. The company runs off fear and finger pointing… oh and selling poorly made jewelry at a ridiculous markup. Absolutely soul sucking.

Pros

You get to look at pretty jewelry all day!

Cons

To work in this warehouse is an absolute nightmare! All because its been imperative for the move to the new warehouse to happen right away, the safety of the employees is in no way a concern. Employees are forced to work in a DUST FILLED, unsafe and hazardous warehouse that is still in the process of undergoing construction. The heat comes on at 9am and cuts off at 3pm which creates a cold environment for shifts starting at 7am-3pm and at 3pm-11pm. Afternoon shifts go without any heat at all. There have been several occasions where the elevator doesn't work. Forcing some slightly disable and pregnant woman to be forced to walk 6 flight of stairs while some of management mysteriously make it up on secret elevators. People who come in for early morning shifts are forced to deal with the blinding sun coming through the blind less windows, while working 90% of the time on the computer. In addition seasonal employee's are promised employee discount codes and rewards for "Mandatory Saturdays" all to be terminated after orders slowed down for the holidays, never receiving rewards nor discount codes. Management has such a manipulative way of promising you splendors like free lunch and gifts in order for you to work harder to in the end just act like it was never said until you forget. Lastly if your willing to be a puppet, its your only true step towards a promotion and then you can go on to making other people miserable as you choose your team of "favorites". HARD WORK proves to go unnoticed because after spending a holiday there it was proven that hard workers were let go while, tardy family members, lazy employee referrals, and incompetent permanent workers were picked to stay. Decisions on who stays and who goes are left to workers put into leadership positions. So instead of decisions being based off of hard work they are based off of "personal" feelings. If your amazing at being a brown nose this is most definitely the place for you.

BaubleBar Response

Glassdoor will not remove negative reviews and while we respect the decision to promote freedom of speech we are compelled to add an employer response to this piece of writing as it contains completely false allegations that, among other things, include accusations of the company directly flouting OSHA guidelines. We would like to state in our defense that these statements are unfair and untrue. We would ask the reader to understand that as an employer we believe that much of this piece is simply fabricated. Thank you.
