Pros

-Many very talented people in R&D -Strong, diverse product line -Professional working environment -Good benefits (401K match, stock options) -Competitive compensation for recent grads

Cons

-Very conservative company (a challenge for working in R&D, at times) -Communication can be difficult with R&D teams in such a large organization -Multiple re-orgs in the past several years have stunted some innovation potential -Concern over acquisitions for some product lines vs. leveraging in-house talent

Pros

Good pay, vac/sick days & benefits

Cons

Micro management. Lower level employees have very hard time getting pay increases. Most people wouldn't complain about OT but it's mandatory, nonstop. Very little appreciation for low levels. Upper management won't listen to employees who actually do the work. Wouldn't recommend anymore.
