      Pros

      Baystate clinical is slowly changing / improving. Nice people and passionate about their work and patient care. Training and Development and D&I initiatives are adding much value.

      Cons

      Draconian practices and thinking. Dated and unpleasant work environment. Support Services employees are miserable due to dysfunctional leaders - some have been working there way too long

      Pros

      I have had the chance to get to know some great coworkers and make some friends. It’s rewarding to know I’m helping local families during their times of need.

      Cons

      Management has suffered over the last few years. Baystate seems to like to squeeze you for all they can get and not reward much if anything.

      Pros

      Able to deliver high quality health care for many years. This is declining rapidly for the past 2-3 years.

      Cons

      The management has adopted a quality over quantity mentality, and disguises this in "patient safety". In doing so, they have created a toxic work environment, driving employee morale down significantly. Their ABC (Accuse, Blame, Criticize) management style has caused dozens of employees, including many very good doctors, to leave the institution and the area, helping to deplete access to world class talent for the community.
