I had high hopes for the shift in senior management, but quickly learned it was a change for the worst. I never witnessed the morale of so many teams crumble so quickly due to the asinine workloads imposed by the new management, coupled with the archaic operating systems. Commissions are garbage at an average of $25-$75 max, as it does slowly increase but there’s rarely enough opportunity to get to the higher amounts. Upper management is constantly badgering site teams for lack of performance when the product we have to sell is so battered, tattered, used and abused that it’s a turn-off for prospective residents, and they hear our feedback yet choose to do nothing with it. When it comes to promotions, you should hope that you’re friendly with those in upper management since they have the tendency to bring in their “buddies” over people who’re genuinely more qualified- and don’t tell someone they’re going to get X promotion after X event happens, then completely walk that back on them and hire in a buddy of theirs.
