      Employee Discount of 20% Flexible Scheduling Company provides vacation time, holiday pay, 401K, pays for life insurance, and offers health insurance plans

      Unrealistic expectations of employees Conservative pay scale for store and corporate employees Inability to meet customer needs Constantly changing policies and management Sends company memos with suggestions on who to vote for and support in local elections Privately owned--very non-transparent No upward mobility Horizontal mobility is frowned on, discouraged, and often sabotaged in spite of the employee handbook stating otherwise

      I do not have any positive comments for Bealls Inc. I advise any job seeker to stay away.

      Cons

      Pay is very low in general and especially compared to the work load. Salary employees are expected to work a lot of overtime. Lack of appreciation from managers. Advancement is slow in terms of time and pay.

      The customers on Monday. It's a good place for kids that are in school. It should motivate them to excel academically. Realizing that Bealls Outlet can be the consequence if they don't get a degree.

      Cons

      The Outlet is not a place for hard working motivated people with a good work ethic. You won't find a comfortable balance. Keep looking!
